What a gorgeous morning it was down at the Botanical Gardens in Albury, New South Wales. I was so looking forward to this session, little Joshua was booked in for a newborn session but some bad luck meant that we couldn't complete his newborn session and mum, Bridget decided to opt for a family session a bit later on.
I couldn't be happier with how the session went with three little ones, sometimes portrait sessions are unpredictable at best. We worked fast, we laughed a lot and most importantly we achieved some gorgeous digital art for Bridget and her family to have in their home.
Gorgeous family portraits doesn't always mean everyone smiling at the camera for me. I value capturing real interaction and family moments over the old 'every one say cheese' portraits.
So much love for their new little baby brother, these two were the BEST Big Brother and Big Sister, just so much love for this little guy which was just beautiful see and capture.
I must admit it has been a while since I have done a family portrait session or even visited the Botanical Gardens in Albury, but no complaints at all, plenty of lush shady green area's and so great for the kids to be able to explore between locations and walk out some of the crazy beans!
