This may not seem like a huge question...
Of course I exist in photos? I have heaps!
I know, we carry our phone's around with us everywhere these days and it's become a part of lives to capture the moment! Whether it's a morning at the park, a birthday party or a selfie with our adorable little ones.
We just whip out the phone and take that photo so we can remember it, so our children can look back on it.
But let me ask you this...
How many of those photos do you exist in, that are not
just a selfie from your phone?
I recently asked this on my facebook page, and while a few us mothers regularly hand over the phone to our partner's for taking a photo, overwhelmingly a lot of mums were scrolling through their phones for a long time before they found one... and I bet, if your partner is like mine, it's a badly lit, shocking angle of ourselves, one that would never make the photo album!
Now, let's take this one step further...
How many of us have family images of our WHOLE family?
These gorgeous family sunset images of Alison, Simon and their two beautiful children will be cherished
Do you have some? Do you have any?
Alright, now I hope that you're really thinking about the reality of that...
Because I really believe it's important for our children to see us in photographs, I believe that while right now we may not like being in the photo, we may have a million excuses for NOT being in the photo, but none of that will matter
in 10, 20, 50 years time when we are looking through our photo albums at our lives!
I believe that not just existing in photographs but printing out those photographs has a positive effect on our children's sense of identity and belonging!
Whatever your reason for not wanting this, I can tell you it's not worth waiting for, you deserve these amazing images for your family and you deserve them now.
While I was on maternity leave my inner photographer was itching to get behind the camera, and luckily this absolutely adorable little doll's mum was happy to bring her into the studio for me to put her into some adorable outfits and take her portraits.
Before Ezra was born I had never had a chubby baby and so with my bestie having this incredible creature I was absolutely smitten for her! Can you half tell? We got through alot before Georgia let us know she had had enough of all me for one day ;)
So many gorgeous faces and hilarious antics - Have a look through her session....

Warning: This little guy will totally steal your heart <3
The moment Jedd came to my studio he was a ball of adorableness, actually in all honesty he made quite the first impression when mum and dad got him out of his car seat wearing these amazing 'Babiators'
Seriously, I had to go look them up and buy a pair for my own son he looked soooo adorable!
And as you can see he was just as adorable without the babiators!
Jedd is learning and growing every day but Mum says right now his favourite thing is bath time.
Clever little guy has also just learnt to stick his tongue out and blow raspberries as well as say mum
As if he couldn't get any cuter than this Jedd's mummy tells me he has taken up the habit of putting mums nose in his mouth when she's cuddling him, I bet you never thought that she would find that absolutely heart melting (slobbery noses...) but it absolutely is!
I am so looking forward to see Jedd grow up over his first year and cannot wait for his next session (he is going to show me how good he is once he masters sitting independently! )
But for now Jedd, stay small, let mum enjoy you at this age for a while longer, it's ticking by way too quickly already!
