Welcome to the world Baby A R L O
I was lucky enough to photograph and meet this beautiful albury wodonga family in June to celebrate and document the arrival of their little baby boy Arlo. I fell in love with his name when I meet him it just absolutely suited him so well, Tamara said that "The name just popped into my head, at the time I had no idea where I had heard it but instantly it became a favourite of both of ours. In the end we had two names, but Arlo was the only contender once we met our beautiful boy."
Arlo was born a beautiful breezy pregnancy ( I wish everyone experienced such beautifully smooth pregnancy journey's!) Tamara says she actually loved being pregnant! I am with you there Tam, I love being pregnant too! Such an amazing time I guess we are the lucky one's that have the blissful pregnancies (the one's everyone else secretly hates I am sure! hehe)
While Arlo is Tamara's first baby he joins a beautiful loving family with an equally as gorgeous big sister Lilly, who was able to join us for his newborn session. I simply love an older sibling image! My first two kids are only 18months apart and images are these are just not possible with an 18 month old and a newborn!
Lilly was amazing and so caring and gentle with her new little brother. Some of my favourite family moments feature below...
It's safe to say that Arlo was a breeze for his newborn session, just such a chilled out little one, but I think that has something to do with his mum and dad being so relaxed and easy going. I couldn't believe it when Tam told me they were heading up to the snow for a weekend not long after their session with me! I am pretty sure I didn't leave my house for about 4 weeks after both my babies were born (except to have their newborn photo's taken ;) ) and here is Tam just taking it all in her stride! Total super mum already!
Finally I have to share this gorgeous blanket, an amazing hand made blanket from Arlo's grandmother that we were able to incorporate into his session. And it just worked perfectly in my little newborn bed prop which also happens to be my most used and most favourite prop!
Phew, and that's not even half of Arlo's final gallery! So many beautiful images so hard to choose which ones to share in this blog post but I think I got all my favourites in there! ;)
Before you go I asked Tam to tell me a bit about her experience with me at Captivated Photography, I think hearing from clients is so important to prospective clients to know that they can trust a photographer and trust in the service they provide.
I have loved getting to know this family as I do with each of my wonderful clients, thank-you so much to Tam and family for allowing me to document this beautiful time for Arlo and your family!

Jude ~ 4 Months
Hello Brown Eyes!
I first met little Jude at his newborn session just a very short 4 months ago and I don't know how it's possible but he has only gotten cuter, and his eyes have only gotten bigger!
Jude will be coming to see me again once he is sitting independently and then again at 12months, as part of his Baby Plan package, you can read more about these beautiful baby plan sessions HERE.
I hope you enjoy this little guy's sweet sweet expressions as much as I did! I just love this giggling smiling age!
